The screw is fed into the collets, there a vacuum tube picks it up and delivers it to the screwdriving point, where the bit presses the screw against the part and screws it in.

SCREWING INTO HARD-TO-REACH PLACES

Thanks to the vacuum tube, it is possible to screw very close to the edges and into holes only slightly larger than the screw head. The system is not only suitable for mounting on a robot but can also be equiped with Z-axis  move and fixed to the machine station. The high-quality surface treatment of the parts in direct contact with the screws ensures a long service life. In addition, the screwdriver is designed to make its eventual replacement quick and easy. A set of wearing parts is supplied as standard with the system.

The screw is fed into the shaped nest, this is then slid under the vacuum tube which grips it. The nest returns to the initial position and the screw is screwed in.

FOR SQUARE AND SPECIAL SCREWS

This is a robust solution that works reliably even with screws that are difficult to solve with other systems. The achievable cycle time is 4 seconds. The Z-axis move can be carried out pneumatically or with an electric axis. On customer request, we are able to modify the system and supply solutions for screwdriving non-standard parts and special applications. Do not hesitate to contact us.
